where are you based? I call Grayslake, Illinois, home but am a on-location photographer which allows for flexibility in session locations. Sessions are primarily located in the Lake County area, but if you are outside that area just see the FAQ below.

i live outside lake county, but am interested in using you as a photographer. do you travel?  Yes – just “say hello” regardless of your location and we can figure out the logistics. With my family located in Detroit and Grand Rapids (Michigan) and towards the Quad-cities (Iowa), I often find myself on the road and willing to schedule sessions during my travels. Session fees may need to be included to accommodate the additional miles.

how long do sessions last? Session lengths vary depending on the type of session. A standard session will be 1-2 hours, with a mini session being my shortest session offered and newborn sessions being the longest.

how much are your sessions? Prices vary by session. While my “investment” page is under construction, please feel free to email pricing inquiries.

what happens if it rains on the day of our session? I understand – things happen and mother nature is impossible to predict. I touch base with my clients the day of the shoot (regardless of weather condition) and should the weather produce conditions not acceptable to shoot, we will work to reschedule at the next available time for us both. A session is not automatically cancelled due to rain, however. All cancellations are subject to the photographers discretion.

what should i wear? I love to consult and brainstorm with my clients! And if you need more help than a consultation and some friendly tips, we can take it one step future as I offer some “ala carte” session add-ons in this department.

when will i receive my images? a session is turned around in 2 weeks with a few “plaid & paisley peeks” along the way! once a session is complete, a link containing your images and print release will be provided via email. Images can also be provided on a USB drive for a small fee.
